Lead-acid batteries’ capacity is around 50% of the initial total after 1.5 years of use, whereas Li-ion batteries’ capacity is about 75% of the initial total after three years of use. Current lead-acid batteries require a battery replacement because the minimum required life for an E-scooter is three years, however, Li-ion batteries do not.
